Alma Cersius Vermentino
Have you heard of Vermentino? No, because you really don’t see this grape around much and is one of those ‘forgotten’ grapes. The grape is known as Rolle in the south of France and we here at Vin Délivré love bringing unusual wines to you. Vermentino makes white wines of excellent quality, as they are powerful, deep, intensely aromatic and quite silky on the palate. As well, the wines are of a beautiful, pale, crystalline colour.
Tasting: Notes of lime and lemon with some stone fruits and some floral notes.
Pairings: Drink with fish, shellfish, tzatziki on toast, ricotta and basil ravioli or even an Indian curry
