Domaine de la Commanderie Tradition 2020
We were introduced to this wine at Wine Paris this year and thought it was a wonderful expression of the Chinon AOC. This organic vineyard was started in 1982 by Philippe Pain, the father of two other winemakers in our first boxes, Clothilde and Honorine Pain.
This wine is fresh and ready to drink now. It has achieved a score of 88/100 by Wine Enthusiast.
Tasting: Spices and ripe black berries, raspberry, hints of green pepper
Pairings: Venison, grilled red meat and cheese
