Julienas Chaintré Morgon La Croix
The Morgon appellation is one of the largest in Beaujolais. Coming from a particular terroir made up of rocks and shale, it seduces with its fullness in the mouth. Often compared to its northern neighbours, the Morgon can look like a Burgundy thanks to its robust and generous structure and its ageing potential for several years. You can drink this now or keep for 5-7 years.
Tasting: Floral notes dominated by peony, black fruits and licorice, some red fruit with powerful and persistant tannins.
