2021 was a very ripe vintage and this 100% Merlot wine from Bordeaux offers aromatic freshness of black fruits which is ready to drink now or over the next 3 years. It’s a very versatile wine that will go with all meats and cheeses.
Located on the edge of the AOC Lussac Saint Emilion and Lalande de Pomerol, the vineyard of Château La Bure des Moines adjoins the old abbey of Faise. It is established on a single parcel of land that is 4.5 hectares with old vines. Château La Bure des Moines produces well-typed wines, which from 1908 were called “Les petits Pomerols”.
