Chateau Cazebonne Le Malbec 2022
This vintage comes from a plot of old Peyron vines (40 years old). Harvested by hand, scraped, then fermentation in natural yeasts. This wine is then aged in sandstone amphora for one year. It received 88/100 in the Revue du Vin de France in April 2024
We love Cazebonne’s approach to wine making with minimal intervention to the process which produces impressive wines. They produce only about 1000 bottles… and not every year, this Graves Feldspath from Peyron offers an intense fruity nose and a material with soft tannins and very beautiful freshness. You can drink this wine now or keep for a few years.
