Château Chillac Bordeaux 2019
Every year the Château Chillac is presented to many competitions and has received many medals: Paris competition, organic vintage challenge, Brussels competition, Macon competition, Bordeaux competition…This wine received 88/100 from Wine Enthusiast, so we couldn’t overlook this unique wine maker when we were looking for some nice Bordeaux wines. The domain of Chillac is an organic vineyard located in the between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers in Morizès region near Bordeaux and this area is called ‘l’entre deux mers’ which translates as ‘between two seas’. Ready to drink now so pop it open!
Tasting: Fruity, aromatic, complex with slightly spicy red fruits and blackcurrant and blackberry on the palate with silky tannins.
Pairings: Any red meat, charcuterie board.
