Château de Durette Fidélité Chénas
In the heart of the Beaujolais region, Château de Durette are obsessed with the regional grape, gamay and they do some wonderful things with it and this wine is a great example of it. The team is made up of enthusiasts of the vine, terroirs and wines. Anna, André and Marc are excited for people to discover their wines. You can even stay in a castle on their property for the full wine experience.
Tasting: Elegant red fruit, slightly wooden, smooth and elegant, final with redcurrant notes. Floral notes of peony and rose nuanced with spicy notes and vanilla. Generous and structured, but gentle in the mouth.
Pairings: Meats in sauce, roasts, duck, or strong cheeses.
